I'm such a rock chick and I love hearing new bands. Being in the UK these days I have made more notice of how a band can be borderline huge in the States and not be heard of here at all and similarly the other way around.

Since we have such a geographical mix in the webmaster community I was curious if anyone could recomend any bands that are big outside of USA and UK that haven't broken into our markets yet.

Please, no boy/girl bands..punk, metal and good old fashioned rock and roll please.
