I plan on going and I have bought a non-refundable plane ticket and reserved a hotel room for the Toronto Convention.
But I'm going to be honest - if more people than there are today are still under quartine in Toronto when it comes time for my flight to leave I won't get on the plane. Before I leave for Toronto most if not all of those under quarintine should be free and clear. Hungry says 140ish people are under quarintine - suspected or probable. As long as that number goes DOWN (who cares how many of them die - I just want to know it's not spreading) before my flight leaves I'll have no problem going to Toronto. If the suspected and probable cases in Toronto goes up I'm staying home. I think that's about as reasonable an answer as anyone can give considering the current media scare around this SARS thing.
I really really WANT to go to Toronto and I HOPE and PRAY the numbers of suspected and probable cases go down. I know the Toronto convention is going to be one of this year's BEST.
