I am kinda busy, so I will cut this short to the point.
If someone has a problem with Lenny's business, or does not like Lenny, and in every business thread his posts they attack him, his business or hijack the thread with name calling and non-sense that becomes a personal attack. Same as following Lenny from thread to thread making some remark, bashing him, whatever like a psycho ex-gf or stalker then it becomes personal.
Over time, you get a few dozen threads of that kind example showing a pattern of behaviors basically hard trolling someone, it goes from trolling to personal. Typically those threads escalate from bashing business to name calling.
'Personal attack' is not limited to your understanding of attacking your family. When you can show a pattern of behavior over a period of time in a few dozen threads. That is enough for
Eric to do something about it. Rightfully so.
When I do not like someone. I will typically avoid their threads, put them on ignore, or whatever. Some on this forum are simply take keyboard warrior to a new level and end up being banned for a period or time, or forever.
In the end,
they do it to themselves. It is not big bad mods being unfair. I am sure most people with any common sense know, before hitting the 'submit reply', that their reply is borderline. They know it when running a search, or following someone around from thread to thread bashing them. Same as you know right from wrong. So there is no need to whip out the, cry for me Argentina, card when hammered for it. Much less an easily pointed out pattern of behavior on some dozen or more threads.
There is always plenty of rope given to people by
Eric on this board. They make their comments, "I am not banned yet", and in a few days/weeks/months/hours they are banned. The ducks are lining up in the background. But they get cocky and eventually there are enough posts/threads/evidence/name calling to pinky wave them bye bye.
As many have said, this is not a democracy, and if you do not like it. Leave. It's
Eric or Playboy's board to run however they see fit. They do not need to cast a vote to get someone off the board.
