I didn't follow your drama that much because I really didn't care, but were the "trolls and fake nicks" as you call them bashing you personally and going after your family?
Or did they have a problem with the business you were conducting?
You may take it personally since it's your business, but the little bit of those threads that I did skim, it sure seemed like they were bashing you because they had a problem with your business.
If they banned him for doing that, it may make you happy, but it's not an equitable enforcement of the rules.
