I am not a Taliban sympathizer, I donīt like them in fact. But who I am to say which cultures to destroy and which donīt? Are they repressive? Sure, that region has had repressive leaders almost its whole history. Do they control others through an ignorant belief system?? Wow! Our religions and cheap entreteinment is not the opium that our societies are getting to keep the fucking brain frozen? How is possible that people is worried about what a group of uncivilized retarded people are doing in Afganistan when there are huge countries-killer machines murdering such amount of people like those who dies in Irak? Do you think Afganistan has the power to murder at least 1% of the people who dead in Irak last 5 years?
Afganistan is dusty place with a looooong history, what happened there only can be understood for people who has been living there. Trying to go there to kill them to ?bring the freedom? is nothing but a stupid measure that only will bring us more terrorists and hate to our civilization.
Thinking that anyone have to choose between ?the American way? or ?the worst place and culture in the history of the world? is nothing but a Bushīs logic. Itīs something easy to say from the comfort of your desk.
Since US is in Afganistan the production of Opium has been going up (ask the CIA why), the retarded Taliban used to control it much better, they made sure to export all the production. Now that control is broken and Kabul is a junkie city. Of course, the british and American forces are happy with that, a sleepy society is easier to control.
