American History X tries, but misses the mark. The perfomances are good, except for that black guy in the laundry room that shows Derek the evil of his ways. I can't believe they didn't rewrite that part, get a new actror or something. The unbelievability of that character amplified the cheesy Hollywood ending, for me.
Do I have to admit Romper Stomper is the superior flick? That would put me in agreement with Joe Sixpack for the second time in two days. Help.
