Bone, that's about the most down to earth advice I've heard.

But I can't take myself seriously and expect anyone else to take me seriously when I ain't got shit to show for my time in the biz.

Just my mindset, I can't be coming around without anything to offer. Not my style.

I gotta give worth to get worth. IMO
Lesson #1

At these shows EVERYONE over promises and under delivers. EVERYONE.

Learn this. DOnt be scared to talk big at the shows.
If you dont have a product but have an idea, tell em its in the works.

Feel around the reactions you get when you bring up a product idea. You can make changes and the such as you go along and get feed back from people. The whole idea of a show is to meet people, get a feel for what people want and then deliever it.

The idea is to get to know your contacts. So when you do get that product created you will have the social network to get it going. People always remember others with personality.
So if you dont have a personality I suggest you go to the store and buy one fast.

I tell people who dont even have a product yet that these shows are very important. Important to get knowlege, ideas, and to see what people want. The idea is to make a name for yourself. Look at the Jesus Dialer. The shit dont even exist and I have more people wanting to use it than most real dialer companies.

Learn marketing, networking and how to deal with not just people but the masses of people.

There is your key.
