basically what it comes down to is you need to sit down with your roommate and create some rules. dont back down from what you feel comfortable with. really layeth the smackdown, otherwise leave or tell her to leave.
however, the links above will show that her boyfriend cannot live there just because she wants him to. he would have to be added to the lease. just because she pays half the rent doesnt mean she can add another roommate to the apartment.
