Roomates are nothing but problems and aggravation. I did that when I was 21 and had just recently moved to California. My GF and I rented a nice sized house. Then her brother needed a place so he rented out an extra bedroom. Then one of her friends needed a place and she rented a room and then had her boyfriend move in with her. So we ended up with 5 of us in this house.

I like having fun too, especially back then in my early 20's, but her friend and her friends boyfriend then started having their friends coming over nearly every day. I never was into drugs, but everyone else there were potheads. It was like a circus and it eventually reached the boiling point and none of us were talking to the other. I also broke up with my girlfriend over it all and moved into my own pad in Marina Del Ray. Never did that again.
