Ben Dover Special Forces take on the pirates
Ben Dover Productions are taking the initiative in the fight to protect their products against DVD pirates by
retaining former special forces and ex-crime squad detectives to conduct proactive investigations for the enforcement of their rights. They have announced today that they are instructing the Anti Piracy Group to provide their full range of highly specialised pro active anti-piracy enforcement services. APG are staffed entirely by former special forces soldiers and ex national crime squad detectives. This unique blend of skills and knowledge provides an extremely effective enforcement service across a wide range of brands. Piracy is a significant threat to many companies particularly those in the entertainment industries who suffered losses estimated at £486 million in the UK alone during 2007. A spokesmen for Anti Piracy Group said, ?We are delighted to welcome Ben Dover as our latest client. Our aim for 2009 is to improve their profits by significantly reducing the levels of piracy affecting them. To achieve this we will deploy a range of strategies and techniques to investigate and bring to justice those who infringe both their copyright and trademarks?. Julian Becker Commercial Director of the Ben Dover brand explained the reasons for the new initiative, ?The damage caused to our company and the wider adult industry by the illegal counterfeiting of our products is extremely serious. Organised crime groups are flooding the streets with pirated DVD?s on a massive scale and this has resulted in sales and profits plummeting. The adult entertainment industry is closely regulated and controlled to ensure that access to our products is only available through licensed outlets, these criminal gangs completely undermine those regulations. We need to fight back against these pirates with every means at our disposal if our business is to remain viable and continue providing valuable employment.? If any other adult content producers would like more details regarding how to gain compensation from the successful prosecution of pirates please contact Julian Becker either at the office.
