How many more subscriptions will come from this person across the industry after he sees $150 on his statement? Do you realize that you doing this, and 10,000 other sites doing this, is driving people away from buying porn? Both me and you know, only "the newbie" surfer will fall for your cross-sale bullshit, and that's the exact kind of surfer you actually try to convert into a consumer who will purchase porn for a long time (first impressions are everything). You give someone a first time bad impression, he is GONE!! I personally have read and seen on many occasions where people discussed how they got ripped off by porn sites and even pinpointing the site name, company, etc asking other people to stay away from it. This happens a lot, on daily basis. Why should such a consumer go to ANY paysite again, when he/she can just get some free porn outside of paysites?
You consider yourself above me the "noob" because you are doing exactly what I am trying to tell people to boycott, and on that ground I gladly accept the "noob" title. If everyone boycotts your practices, then more people will start to actually get more signups, because people will not be scared of porn charges on their credit cards.
Google is currently taking a strong initiative against CPA companies that employ cross sales in their business. They already started to ban shitload of websites from Adwords and Adsense that do this cross sale bullshit or people who promote websites that do such things. Google had to do this, because their CTR on ads and people's conversions were dropping, thus google was starting to see less money from advertisers overall. By google taking a stand against cross sales and scammy looking websites, and filtering out the garbage practices, they are driving their CTR and consumer purchases from ADs higher, and in return more websites will be advertising with google.
Are you implying that google is "noob" as well?
