Because the guns lovers here in the US say the Constitution allows it. The guns nuts wouldn't care if the death rate from guns killed 1,000,000 Americans a year as long as they had a right to own any gun they wanted and didn't have to have any restrictions what so ever. You know we tried that experiment once before. It's called the Old West. That didn't work out too well did it?
