Our Pink Visual division started a "Plant Your Wood" initiative, releasing DVDs with minimal packaging, all made from recycled material, and our offices are decidedly eco-friendly. We have recycling bins everywhere, leave the lights off except on cloudy days (sunny Arizona, so we just open the blinds) and make sure no unnecessary hardware is left running. Last month I accidentally sent my computer into stand-by mode rather than turning it off (a minor goof) and received an automated e-mail from our sys-admin department telling me I had been "busted" wasting energy.

It may sound like little stuff, but if all the hundreds of millions in the industrialized, so-called first world, do their part, we can have an effect.
