I got a call on my voicemail from a state Detective from the sherriff's internet fraud division about a model that I shot around 7 years ago...I named her "Paleface The Pipehead" and she was 32 years old when I shot her.
So the detective was really nice about everything and he requested that I take a picture of her down from my site..it was probably an SEO page that I built about her....He didn't even know that there are hundreds of galleries with a full picture set floating around the net.....He said that if the picture wasn't taken down that he would call me the next day...He didn't threaten me with anything..He just said he would call.
So I called him back and left a message asking him to tell me what law I have broken, knowing that I didn't break any and if the detective tried to lie, it would be recorded on voicemail.....However, he was very nice again and asked if I could take it down "out of the goodness of my heart".
Now I'm not going to take down the galleries and now that some crackhead bitch tried to snitch on me to the police, I should put her on blast but I won't.....But since the detective was so nice, I'm going to black out her face on the SEO page that I've built but I'm doing it for the detective, not for the woman.
But let me tell you one thing.....When you're checking voicemail and the man says, "This is DETECTIVE so and so", an initial feeling of dread hit the pit of my stomach....Of course once he explained himself, the fear left.
