Innocent people go to prison for all sorts of crimes. You're arguing because policing is not infallible we should not police at all. Stupid beyond belief. I'm sure if a crime was committed against you and the police told you they were not investigating the crime because there was a slight chance they get the wrong person you would rightly be pissed off.
