The argument that somehow cruelty to something is ok or somehow justified because somewhere something else worse is happening is about as a ridiculous response as I could think of. Obviously it is fucked up if someone is getting beheaded or raped or shot or whatever. I don't see how one somehow negates the other.
I fucking love animals yet I can easily accept that they can kill a cat. It is an inbuilt genetic characteristic of alot of breeds of dogs. That is not the fucked up part.
