Washington, D.C. (AHN) - Journalists wanting to interview U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the G20 summit got a shock when the toll-free number they dialed to join a conference call turned out to be a phone sex line.
Reporters who dialed the number the White House gave them heard a sultry-voice woman telling them, "Do you have any hidden desires?"
"Well, do you feel like getting nasty? Then you came to the right place - brought to you by the girls of Swank magazine," the girl added, reported News.com.au.
It turned out the White House accidentally handed out a sex line number for Clinton and National Security Advisor Jim Jones' conference call.
The journalists then called White House for a corrected number.
According to Ananova.com, White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton commented on the incident, "A corrected phone number on a press release is probably one of the stupider things Fox News has covered lately."
