honestly, i don't think that's fucked up. think of it from the adoptive parent's point of view. you want to have a child, let's say you and your partner are physically unable to have a child of your own. maybe you'd like a child that fits you. afterall, you are taking this kid into your life to raise for the next who knows how many years. you think anyone would adopt if it was just a giant baby vending machine, and you got whatever baby was next up on the block? i know if i went in to adopt, i wouldn't be looking for the fat chinese kid. not because he's fat or chinese, but because I am neither. don't you want your children to grow up to be smart, attractive, and successful?
