If you consider Spain's unemployment rate is already 14% and its workforce is notorious for its laziness and low productivity I would think that they might be better served to focus inward on their own internal problems.

Because under Spanish law international cases can be heard, its the lawyers rather than the Spanish government / judiciary that's asked for these people to be arrested.
