BTW.... The History channel recently had a show about decomissioning one of these bad boys. It was like a two year process where they put it in dry dock and stripped it down into pieces.

haha, you're right, I was being sarcastic. They don't have many, but i do believe they have more nuclear subs in the world than any other country, many smaller ones not of the "Typhoon" class. They had footage of one of them that was being used in a documentary I saw, which i think was just about nuclear subs in general, not the Russians' subs.
I don't know if the new ones are going to be bigger than the typhoons though, I didn't read the whole story.
