interesting stuff. i drink a lot of water on a daily basis, i try and do bottled water (more for taste), and iced tea (of which i generally use tap water). as far as my teeth go, never noticed any problems. other problems associated with excessive flouride i do not know about with myself.
any info on how well items such as a brita filter can remove things such as flouride?
oh yeah, and to the person earlier that was talking about their well...
i'd be more concerned personally about nitrates in your water than flouride. it does not seem that flouride is generally in rural communities. when i was living with well water, our school did regular weekly flouride treatments for "compensation", a practice common here in nebraska. at any rate, well water tastes better.
if you do live in a farming community, definitely have your water tested for nitrates, and consider installing a filter for drinking water
