There is NOTHING worse than having the new host upstaged by the retired host. Alex Trebek was wise to let Art Fleming stay in St. Louis instead of appearing on the new "Jeopardy!" and a summertime revival of "Let's Make a Deal" was fatally wounded when Monty Hall handled one deal before handing the mic back to the new host -- who suddenly looked worse-than-incompetent after Hall effortlessly breezed his way through like he had a thousand times before.

Drew Carey STILL looks like he is getting the hang of hosting -- and standup is traditionally a BAD background for game show hosts, DJs and radio people tend to be the best -- and if Bob took the mic for even one game that could also spell doom not only for Carey but for a show that has been pumping money into CBS and the production company for almost four decades.
