There are zero deaths attributed to marijuana use. That cannot be said about pharmaceuticals. Even Asprin cannot make that claim.

Industrial hemp has an amazingly wide array of uses, from concrete to clothing and biomass with environmental cleanup uses as well. It is truly underutilized here in the states because of the current ridiculous marijuana laws.
