I quoted the both of you, just so that you can see ronald never said what you said he said. Although ronald's English isn't perfect, it is pretty clear to me that he meant to say that he, his children, and his dogs all live together peacefully. When he said "if you raise a puppy with the little boy...," he meant that this is the best way to raise a puppy so that they are socialized with YOUR OWN children from a young age. This as opposed to adopting an adult Pit bull who was never socialized to be with children.
BTW, if you look at pictures from the early 1900s you will see that the Pit bull was one of the most popular family pets. You see them with children a lot in these pictures. They were very popular as family pets. So it's very sad to see what's happened to them these past couple of decades. People now want them because they are "tough looking." And that is one of the main reasons a lot of them end up in shelters.
