RULES AND SAFETY INFO FOR DUNK TANK
Safety Rules
Adult supervision is required at all times during participation.
Never leave dunk tank unattended while full of water.
Never attempt to move dunk tank while tank contains water.
Only ONE person is permitted to site in dunking booth or enter tank.
Do not attempt to climb in dunk tank without it being securely blocked up on all four corners.
Protective screen must be in a secured position prior to use of the tank.
Do not allow items to be thrown at screen or Plexiglas plate.
Use permanent ladders provided while climbing on the dunk tank.
Individuals participating inside of dunk tank must be in good physical condition. Persons with
head, neck, knee or joint injury, back or other musculo-skeletal injuries or disabilities, respiratory
problems or who may be pregnant should not participate. If you are currently under medical care,
please consult your physician before participating on this event.
We recommend that only adults be dunked, if you choose to let a youth be dunked, they must be
accomplished swimmers.
No horseplay or triggering target manually with hand.
Participants should wear tennis shoes or other closed toe footwear.
No sharp objects allowed in dunk tank.
No food or drink in dunk tank.
No animals of any kind in dunk tank.
Keep water level a minimum of 8 inches from the top of the tank (or a minimum water level of
3’6”).
Participants must SIT facing forward on seat after securing dunking device with hands on their
lap. Only one person on the dunking seat at a time.
Use only balls provided with dunk tank rental. DO NOT use baseballs or other hard balls.
Do not allow balls to be thrown at target until person to be dunked is fully seated on the seat and
has signaled that he/she is ready to be dunked.
Flag off entire area behind the target to eliminate any people traffic being hit by stray balls.
Do not bounce on seat.
Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
Dunk tank must be blocked upon all four corners prior to filling tank with water.
Use only potable water in tank.
You agree to pay for any and all damages to the dunk tank while in your possession, including
transportation and usage.
YOUR SUPERVISION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SAFETY DEVICE. NEVER LEAVE
CHILDREN AROUND DUNK TANK WITHOUT AN ADULT PRESENT (OUTSIDE THE UNIT)
SUPERVISING AT ALL TIMES.
