People also forget Lesnar had a great showing in the Minnesota Vikings training camp after he first left WWE, and was offered a spot in NFL Europe, even though he hadn't played football since high school. I have no doubt if he had his heart in it he would've eventually been an NFL player.
Bobby Lashley has similar credentials. He was also an amateur wrestling champ, albeit NAIA since he went to a small college (Missouri Valley College), and won Armed Forces wrestling championships in the Army. You can't really form an opinion on him after one fight in which he won by KO on a cut, but he is another elite athlete that I could see on the fast track to the UFC...
