Lesnar was an NCAA wrestling champ, but because he decided to make some money and become a pro wrestler, at a time when MMA didn't pay shit, the low lives that spend every waking hour on MMA forums whined and cried that he was a phony. Never mind the fact that Don Frye, Sakuraba, Fujita, and one of the current top heavyweights in the world, Josh Barnett, all were or currently are professional wrestlers.
The only thing that would make me happier is to see Bobby Lashley go on a similar streak and also set the UFC on fire. Actually, I just love to see world class athletes enter MMA now, and piss off every fat guy or skinny geek with a BJJ blue belt...

pretty much the same reason i'm happy for lesnar. at first i had that wwe wtf thing going on, then i watched his k-1 bout, and looke dinto his career in college wrestling and realized he might just be a force. and look at the guy now. comes across as really dedicated and very humble in his position.
