Because future people you do business could see how big of a jackass you are to others and it could turn them away?
Example:
I'm looking at starting a paysite and want to have some sweet photography done, I have 2 options, Dean Capture, or AaronM, 2 amazing photographers.
Looking at Dean's history, he's spoken out against stupidity happening with Playboy and GFY and got banned.
Then we have AaronM's history on GFY, oh look, he does nothing but insult people for having different opinions and beliefs.
Guess who just gets my thousands of dollars worth of content production... Not the guy who is doing nothing but hating on people.
