You keep coming back to the World/Euro cups. The Premier Leage is the best league in the world because its made up of players from many different nations (althought not too many Italians I might add) Thats what makes it amazing. No one ever said its so good because of the English players. Who is the best player in Serie A? Kaka of course.. note he is Brazillian. Im willing to bet Kaka will leave Milan in the next 2 years too. Maybe not to England or maybe he will. He won't stick around in Milan.
There's a reason the big players don't go to Italy until they are closer to the end of their careers nowadays. 10 years ago Serie A was amazing. Its stuck in the 90's. Too much defending and diving. The premier league moved on, invested on its image and teams benfited from it. Theres a reason all the rich men in the world are buying teams such as Aston Villa, Chelsea, West Ham, Manchester City etc etc.
Not to mention the match fixing scandal which almost brought down Italian football. Its a total farce, its more about politics and cheating than it is about results on the park.
You can argue with me all day, I'm willing to bet I know more about football than you ever will. I live and breathe the sport since I was 6 years old. There's also tons of good points in this thread as to why you are wrong.
The National team is not an expression on the quality of the league. If that was correct then the Brazillian and Argentinian Leagues should be the best in the world.
