Fabio Capellos view on the premiership vs serie a.

Capello told Rai: ?There is a huge difference in terms of mentality and they [Premier League teams] are also more used to physical and intense football.

?Our [Italian] teams lack something compared to the English ones and when Milan beat Manchester [United, in 2007], it was because they had quality players.

?We have to improve on that aspect if we want to be back at the highest level in Europe.

?The rhythm is more fluid and quick in British football. Italian teams are too much about nine defenders and a striker left on his own to try to score goals.?

Pretty much sums it up, serie a teams defend, defend, defend which is why they are so boring to watch. He also makes a good point about Ac Milan, in 2007 they did have good players and were still a great squad, but years on they have an extremely old squad and ex-great players who just cant cut it anymore. The way Arsenal ripped apart this team of grandads showed how immobile they are.
