No, I'm pretty sure it means you don't need a high-powered assault rifle to hunt deer. I'm no anti-gun person, I have a loaded 9mm S&W handgun in the drawer right next to my bed at all times and I'm ex-military, and I know damn well there is no reason for a civilian to have an M-60 in his closet. NO REASON. The only people who would even WANT something like that are unbalanced and the last people that SHOULD have it.
