Not sure where your from, but hand guns in general are illegal in NYC...unless you get a permit for taget practice (which is close to impossible to get) or in law inforcement. What I meant you can banned them...but the criminals will still get their hands on them easily.
Last I checked there are no guns being manufactured in the projects in Brooklyn...so they are coming from other states.
