Why do I think eating Animal Products are good for me? I was obviously designed or evolved in to it. I have teeth designed specifically for the purpose! More over, my Dietician includes meat in my diet. She's a Doctor and frankly I suspect she understands nutrition even better than you or I do.

You see, when you're tuning your body to elite levels, the science of nutrition becomes very important. Little things you probably don't know, like limiting your dead protein intakes (powders) to 30% or less of your daily protein intake. To mix up the types of proteins you have and when you have them, in other words not to eat the same proteins over and over at the same times each day.

I have to eat between 4500 and 5000 calories a day, with the lion share being proteins, then complex carbs and finally fats. I think it'd be tough to get the protein levels I require from vegetables alone.

I'm 35 years old and my standing heart rate is in the mid 50's. I run for up to an hour a day with a heart rate of 160 beats per minute. My Cholesterol is perfect, my blood pressure right in an ideal range and my body fat is very low. I'm going to go ahead and guess that my arteries are in fact not filled with pumples ready to burst at any moment. At least my Doctor has never said any such nonsense. How am I a walking graveyard?
