It was the Administration that requested the action to begin, but Congress must approve the action. Only Congress has the power to declare War, not the President. There are so many opinions about Iraq and not a single person has all the facts except the people at the top, and I doubt you are up high enough to be in the know. Not a Bush lover here, but also not stupid enough to drink the Kool-Aid of the opposition as well. I find myself in the middle of it all.



Oh God... you seriously think that it's just Bush that has fought against things? Not Clinton? Not Bush Sr? Not Reagan? Not Carter? Not the whole fucking lot of them? Do people not see that politics is business no matter who is in the Chair? Do people not see that Obama is pandering to political constituencies just as much as Bush or Clinton or anyone? He is being controlled by lobbying and corporate America and everything else just as much as Bush. They are all asshats, plain and simple.

Bush didn't fuck over America by himself. He's not that smart and he didn't have that much unchecked power. Our government has fucked over America, and that includes your and my Representatives and Senators whether Dems or GOP.

Seriously stop thinking this was all one man's doing. Read a fucking American History or Civics book and understand how our government works. The President is counterbalanced by Congress people. He can't do whatever the fuck he wants to unchecked. It's just not the way it works. I live in Arizona. I fucking hate McCain and Kyl because they are politics as usual. If you believe your representation is doing what's best for you and the country as a whole, then you are delusional as well.

Accepting that your people are in positions of power is just determining that you are OK with your opposition getting fucked over, and that's no different than it is now. When will we actually have representation that looks at things as good vs. bad, right vs. wrong. They are after all making judgements for 350 million people, not just for themselves or their states or their districts. It's like none of them understand that.

Obama is no different than the rest. He will not fix things, he will not change things, he will not even be any different. Same shit, different leader, that's all.
