In this case it didn't have to happen. Military people take an oath to protect the united states. The oath says nothing about liberating the people of Iraq. I appreciate and respect anyone who serves in the military because they know when they join they could be called up to go to war. But not all wars are needed. We didn't need to invade Iraq. We gained nothing from invading Iraq.
