Not sure if I agree with you there. America (arguably the most militarily advanced nation in the world today) has had it's ass handed to it in Somalia (poorest African / Muslim nation), Afghanistan (poorest Muslim nation), and Iraq (very poor Muslim nation). I am not sure how a legion of Romans would deal with so many AK47s & RPGs...?
