I never went to college...and it is one of the only things I regret in my life. That paper does mean something when your looking for a decent job. Even if your a web designer...they request a degree. We all know that any software you can learn just by reading and playing with the program...but to land the job they want that paper that says you went to college.
What really helps is if you went to a really good school also, cmon 2 people are interviewing for the job one clown graduated from Bronx community college and the other from Babson college...who is getting the job?
Education is very important, power is knowledge...
