I think the whole thing is retarded. Everyone having a blog and a myspace and facebook account that they updated daily was bad enough.....now all these narcissistic fucks think the world needs to hear from them every 5 minutes.

But you'd be surprised who DOES want to hear it.
I won't speak for anyone else, but as a chick with personality-based sites, it's been a great way to keep in touch with my members. Once upon a time, I actually tried to keep it to a few times a day, spew something short and sweet, maybe a link or two.
Then I had a bunch of my members join it just to follow me, lol...and it's actually gone almost to a live chat format. It's been useful traffic-wise and for letting my guys feel that (and this is a direct quote from one of my members) "between Twitter, her blog, and the spycams, you can literally know her every single move, every day."
If I get busy and DON'T post, they yammer at me til I get back to life, lol -- luckily most of my guys are pretty respectful though, and understand that I have stuff to do. But I honestly can't see getting away from it now.
