Anyone who thinks the overall economy would be much better now if John McCain would be president is a liar, fool, or propagandist/cheerleader for the republican party.
If the markets are crashing due to lack of faith in Obama, then we should blame wealthy republicans/conservatives for selling,shorting .... along with blaming Obama for not having better long-term solutions.
