Without introducing politics into this thread, Obama has proposed the idea of creating lots of local health clinics. This would make healthcare easier for many, based upon convenience. In addition it would allow uninsured people an alternative to hospital emergency rooms (a huge problem), it would create some jobs in construction and health care, and finally (and this is not mentioned in the idea, but is pretty important) these clinics may become critical for all of us if some sort of pandemic flu-type virus occurs, or if there is any sort of bio-attack.

The idea that bailing out the banks, who mismanaged all of our money while lining their pockets without regulations, is somehow more important than healthcare funding, is just absurd to me.
