they probably sent you back an older model refurbished one which WILL get the RROD again. Of course, prior to 2007 only the xbox 360 elite had an hdmi port. Shortly after that the arcade, pro etc.. all had an hdmi port. So chances are you got one from 2007 that was refurbished. I sent my 360 in a little over a week ago due to the RROD and when I get it back and I see no hdmi port on it I will know that they sent me a much older version of the console.
If they were smart and wanted to save the company some $ they would send a NEW one instead of an old refurbished one that WILL get the RROD again and cost MS even more $. Every time a person gets another 360 back from them after the RROD they get another 1 year warranty (3 years for the RROD) so why the hell keep sending ones that they know will get that again?
