some sponsors see sites like pornhub sitting at number one for huge terms on google, and their thinking is that they can use affiliates for relevancy and authority to their own sites and make more money off of se traffic than 98% of the affiliates putting up their links in the first place... they know that 98% of their affiliates will make very little or nothing but they help the sponsor's greater cause in the long run

when a company does a few things that raise your eyebrows you have to wonder, and sometimes it looks like the priority is shifting away from a main goal of a profitable partnership between sponsor and affiliates to where they are working toward a situation where the affiliates are becoming expendable
