The older I get, the more irritated I am with the whole predator/horndog mode that young men seem stuck in. It's just not necessary and it's often unwelcome.

If there's a woman who interests you that you've got a chance at, eventually she'll speak to you. Take it from there.
Meanwhile, you're not making the women at your gym feel like prey. Odds are, this will be noticed, and count in your favor; gentlemen always win in the end. It's true that sometimes extremely young women will fall for the aggressive pursuit routine, but by the time they've been around that block a few times, they're tired of the bullshit. And unless you're at a meat market gym, they don't want your attention, that's not why they are there.
