i don't understand why billions are given to any of these corps/banks and they are not held accountable for how it is spent. yes, that's a shitload of accounting but i feel it should be a demand, a law, that if you receive bailout money you must prove that it was spent in the manner you laid out and the government approved. in the end, we the taxpayers are paying for these bailouts. why shouldn't we demand to know where that is going to be spent before it is handed out and then require it be monitored? our government is just as corrupt as any other
