It depends on the drama. I comment on a lot of things and do business here. Idiots can be ignored but sometimes that have to be replied to, just to say you did something.
The business has changed and boards have to change with them. The days of doing business or even getting business from 100s of newbies are over, cue all those making coin from or by being a newbie. So it's people in the business with experience and skills talking to each other that matter.
On the other hand driving up the traffic with loads of inane posts from idiots who think they count is not a good strategy. Traffic is no longer king, it's what that traffic is and and spends that matters.
