I don't think tgps are dead. I think it has everything to do with how you market your tgp tgp site. Buy some traffic, do the link exchanges, submit to as many directories as you can, optimize your site for the search engines...etc. I really don't think it matters if whether your site is a tgp or mgp.

I run a paysite that is primarily a photo based site but my affiliates are bringing in several sales per hour and all throughout the day. Some are bringing in nearly 25 sales per day....and that's PER affiliate.

Most of these guys operate PICTURE tgp sites....so yeah, doesn't matter whether your promoting photos or movies....as long as you market your site to a large audience of surfers...and you sign up with the right affiliate programs. But again, you have to get your site out there to as many surfers as possible.
