All these 3rd and 4th generation wrestlers are so lame...Orton, Dibiase, Rhodes, Snuka, and a couple of others I cant think of off the top of my head.
I guess I'm just saying it seems like the entertainment factor has gone way down...this newer generation of wrestlers just arent that fun to watch.

I think Vince McMahon shot himself in the foot when he opened the WWE Films division, since now every wrestler with star power and charisma ends up in one of his straight to video films, and if they do well Hollywood will eventually come calling. The Rock should have been the WWE's meal ticket for the next 2 decades, but instead he is making millions in Hollywood. The same with Steve Austin, even though he can't physically wrestle anymore because of his neck injury he could still draw money being a presence on WWE TV, but he is making more money filming Hollywood B movies.
It's not all the faults of the wrestlers, though, since the WWE's writing team is incredibly weak, and if you saddle a guy with a shitty gimmick and put him in a lame storyline it's tough for him to shine. I have 2 friends that have been on the WWE writing team at different times, and both of them said it is such a cluster fuck since Vince's daughter Stephanie constantly shoots down good ideas. Hell, she even hired the actor Freddie Prinze Jr for the writing team, so that gives you an idea of how out of touch she is...
