Its a low glycemic lifestyle and low glycemic is the best lifestyle to be on. Also eating protein is not hard on the kidney bodybuilders eat anywhere from 300-1000 grams of protien a day and I have never heard of one with kidney problems (My brother was one) On atkins you dont eat anywhere near thast much protein. Also people that have never had a weight problem shouldnt talk about diets because its not their lifestyle but their genetics 99 percent of the time.
