Spending stimulates the economy. Even if it is pork it still puts someone to work or buys something once again puts someone to work or someone gets to keep their job.Is building a train line really pork? don't people have to build it? don't people have to run it? materials have to be bought ? don't trains have to be bought? that's stimulus spending. Cutting taxes isnt going to fix this. The right needs this all to fail or they are done for a very long time.
