You'll have to log into your domain settings at your domain regestrar and set the dns to choopa's dns settings. You will basically be parking your domain there. Don't do this though untill you've actually set up an account with them, cause it takes up to 2 days for dns settings to refresh. Then once you have an account setup with your new host, transfer your files to the new host, switch the dns, once you are sure that your domain is now parked with your new host, you can safely shut down your old acct. with the old host.
